I should start this review with a reminder that although the product or hardware is simple enough to install the project is not for a beginner. This item came with all hardware needed for the folding mechanism as well as a very in depth instruction manual. Which I really appreciated since this is my first Murphy bed I build. I especially liked that it illustrated in detail the cabinet building plans. Including an illustration of how much wood paneling you would have to purchase. As well as how to place the individual pieces on the panel to get the most out of your purchase of wood. With that said if you do not have the proper wood working tools or space and skill you will need to hire a cabinet maker. The steel is of good quality and the hydrologic cylinders feel very sturdy. The hardware itself is a bit heavy due to the quality of the steel and the weight it will have to carry. Overall it’s a good quality product that is fairly priced.
