I fell into a deep spiral of looking for sheets recently. I read so many reviews and decided to buy these. I am in the beginnings of menopause and sleep very hot. These sheets keep me cool and dry. So comfortable and washes beautifully!Because this is my first set of bamboo sheets, I read the laundering instructions carefully, and made sure I was using one of the detergents the manufacturer recommends. My husband was a little worried when he took them out of the washer for the first time, because they felt extremely stiff. I assured him that the instructions said they would be stiff when wet, but soft once they were dry. Because they don't use formaldehyde to coat the sheets, they do wrinkle a lot, but I found that shaking the sheets out before putting them in the dryer, and removing them immediately when they're dry helps. The sheets are so soft and lightweight when I crawl into bed! They're a little pricey, but I absolutely love them, and have ordered a second set.I read most of the reviews on this product and was very excited to try these sheets. I also bought a 2 inch pad to go with them to help my back issues.Size - These were the first set of deep pocket sheets that I've had, and I was very impressed with how easily the fitted sheet went on even with the 2" pad on the mattress. Also the queen sized flat sheet was large enough on the bed so that my husband and I won't fight for the sheets (we usually buy king sized blankets and comforters for our queen bed). The flat sheet hung down the sides of the bed a lot, so that it could be tucked in and there was plenty left over.Feel - As everyone else says, these are SOFT! They feel almost like suede or like they have lotion in them. Very nice! The only part that surprised me is that they made me feel warm. I know that others don't seem to have this problem (except for a couple), but since this is unusual for me, I wanted to provide my feedback. I am usually freezing at night, wearing long sleeves in summer and having an extra blanket on my side of the bed, but with these sheets, I was toasty, which isn't useful in Georgia in summer. Because of this, I will save these sheets for the winter and go back to cotton for the summer. The pad was not the cause of the warmth because I used the pad with cotton sheets first and it was fine.Color - The color is just as described. I would have loved a warmer color and not something so dull, but they were fine and I can jazz it up with a colorful coverlet instead.Good product, just wish it didn't make me warm in the summer! This is second set of Bedvoyage bamboo sheets that my husband and I have purchased. These sheets are incredible. They launder like a dream. They are enormous, which I love because there is plenty of sheet material to drape over the bed, over our bodies, while still allowing ample sheet material to cover up with. We are never fighting each other for some more sheet like we do at time with other sheets that are barely wide enough to cover the top of the mattress! I am also a hot sleeper. I tend to get hot easily throughout the night. Even with these sheets, I still get hot easily throughout the night. But the difference is that with these sheets, all I have to do is either move to a different spot on the bed for just a few minutes, or get up from the bed for just a few minutes, and the sheets cool off so quickly. I also love the way the fabric DRAPES over you while you sleep. The fabric sort of just lightly melts over you...it's very flowy and luxurious in that way. The fabric is not heavy or stiff. We have had our other set for well over a year and they launder well...we dry them in the dryer and they have not pilled up in the least. We are careful not to use dryer sheets with these sheets. We love them so much.Worth every penny the first time I used them. Sooooo cool and comfortable.I am very fussy when it comes to sheets. What's the use of fluffy comforters and downy mattresses if the material closest to you isn't silky and comfortable? If you have huge temperature swings during the night like I do, you'll notice a significant reduction in cover throw offs. I used to wake up three or four times a night. SInce I started using these sheets (about two months now), I wake up maybe once or not at all. Really. I loooove these sheets. But the reason I'm writing this review is because of all the other reviews regarding the wrinkles. You HAVE to read the directions. COLD water. Only laundry detergent - no bleach or softener. Dry on the lowest setting with heat. I use the one just above "fluff-no heat." As for wrinkles, know that these sheets dry very quickly, like 10-15 minutes, so be on standby to pull them out as soon as the dryer turns off or even before. Also, BIG TIP: If you pull and smooth the hem around the top of the flat sheet before you put it in the dryer it will hardly be wrinkled at all. For the really fussy: I dry my sheets one at a time so they have plenty of room to tumble and I also go in there and un-ball them after about ten minutes. They come out of the washer like cardboard but come out of the dryer like silk. They really are so different from the other high end sheets I have I rarely use the others anymore. Hope this helps the wrinkle-adverse.
