I kept the bed skirt, but I had to pin up one side to keep it from dragging on the floor. The 16” drop was ok, it’s the portion that covers the box springs that is oversized. Hopefully using the safety pins will not tear the fabric as the bed is used. It’s our guest bedroom. You will need at least two people to put the mattress down over it. It slides over the box springs very easily. It's really hard to find a bedskirt that won't touch the ground. I live in an apartment, where others can bring in bug infestations, so I want a bedskirt (to discourage my cat from using my boxspring for a scratching post) that doesn't touch the ground.I think I ordered the 12" bedskirt, and it is the perfect length. I also love that -- unlike almost all other bedskirts, the platform part is the same color (taupe) instead of white. That way, if the bedskirt gets a little out of place there's not this white part peeking out, like some underwear sticking out when jeans slip down a little. The first thing I loved, oddly enough, was the scent when I opened the package. I am super sensitive to artificial chemical scents -- and it is rare for me to find a scent that came from a store, that doesn't smell bad to me. I don't know why, but to me this bedskirt smelled better than roses.I also love the shade of taupe. The Amazon pictures don't do it justice -- it looks cheap. But what arrived in the mail is very high quality. I was afraid it would be too dull and grayish. But it has a slightly golden tinge to its cappucino color, which goes beautifully with my quilt. Also, I really appreciate the seller. After I ordered on March 18 Amazon told me that it might not arrive until the end of April. Then Amazon said that my package may have been lost, and that I could get a refund. At the end of April, I checked the USPS tracking number -- and USPS said it had been delivered on the 21st. I went to the post office (because they weren't answering the phone when I called). The Post Office told me that they had a new delivery guy on weekends, and that he had delivered it on Sunday, March (not April!) 21st, and that USPS doesn't take pics of the package on the doorstep, and doesn't send notification of the delivery to the customer. They gave me the runaround, having me waste my time calling the postmaster general -- who told me there was nothing they could do to help me.So I asked this seller to send me another bedskirt. And boom! Three days later, it was in my mailbox. Yes, the package fit in my apartment mailbox.First up the pros:Great price.Looks nice.Works on low bed frames (For reference I have an original Purple mattress with a Zenni bed frame, so low to the ground)Cons:Strong chemical smell right out of the bed- hopefully it will fade soon!Cheap feeling fabric, but the look is great.I like the productIt was supposed to be 16” over hang. I was sent 17” overhang which is too long for me. I’m getting a new sent. I Hope it’s the right size!!!I’m going to order 14”. Hopefully this will work!!!I got replacement order and it still 17” not 16” which is what I ordered. Sending them back Again!I bought this bedskirt for my tall queen size bed. I chose a double size because it seems like all the queen size ones I’ve tried have been too big. Even though queen size sheets fit my bed perfectly, I find that a long full-size desk trouble fit better.I have a bed frame that is 18 inches off the ground. I order the 21inch bed skirt ro make sure that it touched the ground there is probably at least 3 inches between the bottom of the bed skirt and the floor. ?I was pleasantly surprised with this bed ruffle. It arrived well packaged and on time, the color matched my duvet exactly (really!), and makes my bed look “finished”. For someone who is not much of a decorator, that’s saying a lot!
