This bed is extremely cute and my girls were so excited, as was I! Until we got it all together and realized it is insanely wobbly.. it might say it will hold 220lbs on top and bottom but no one that’s 220lbs could climb that ladder without tipping the whole thing over! But I guess other than that it’s a great bed! ??‍♀️VALUE - A++STURDY - A+ASSEMBLY - DTRUNDLE - COVERALL - BMy friend and her boyfriend took about three hours to assemble this bed. They said it was NOT easy and the instructions were hard to follow.The trundle bed has metal supports at the top of the bed to keep the mattress on and the manufacturer did NOT account for the size of a typical twin mattress. The metal supports cause the mattress to bend. The trundle needs to be bigger!Overall I am very happy with this bed. It fits in my space perfectly.Bought this bunk bed for my two boys who share a room. I hope who ever designed the assembly of this bed steps on a million LEGO’s in the dark in the middle of the night. The assembly really wasn’t bad until I got to the slats. If you don’t have someone else helping you assemble this be prepared to spend entirely too much time and getting frustrated because as soon as you think you have all the slats lined up and in place they all fall out.For the price it is pretty good! I will say it is not really sturdy as some of the bars bent when the kids slept on the bottom bunk for a sleepover! So just be careful for that! We could have just gotten a fluke so don’t let this stop you for figuring it out yourself! It does the job needed.We added this to a rental cabin for small bunk room. It's perfect for kids and teens. The trundle wheels are very smooth and easy to maneuver it when needed. Larger adults might have hard time navigating the ladder but this was perfect for what we were looking for, kids and teens.We bought this for it's high satisfaction rating and weight rating by manufacturer. It's heavy for sure. Slats and ladder are sturdy. It took my husband 2 days to get it assembled and he's a VERY handy guy. If you don't have someone VERY handy to put this together, don't buy it. The grandkids loved it and it was very comfortable.The trundle bed wheels are total garbage. One sleepover and one of the wheels is broken already. One night! The trundle was only out to sleep on and then I tried to roll it back under and it was broken. Disappointing.Took me about 3 hours to put this together on my own. Imagine my disappointment when I sat on it and it squeaked like crazy. Tightened up all the bolts and it still squeaks. I’m currently laying down on the full bunk every time I move the bed squeaks. The metal slats are also garbage, they are loose and if I drop my foot down it makes a rattling sound. Was very excited to put this together and waiter over a week with $60 shipping but boy am I disappointed. The squeaks definitely aren’t going to fly with my son, who has autism!It took about an hour for me and my husband to put the bed together. I did gash my hand open on a piece of metal that was sticking up as I slid my hand down to move a pole, so I feel that should have been caught before leaving the manufacturer. But the bed is sturdy and doesn’t take up any extra room than it has to.
