Absolutely amazing bed frame! I am 6'1 and weigh roughly 250lb and i've had absolutely zero problems with this bed frame so far. I purchased one of the Hercules 14'' bed frames for my bed and it squeaked and moaned and bent within the first few nights due to it not being constructed very sturdily but this frame right here is quite the fighter. Since I purchased it I've had zero creaking and moaning coming from it and i've even had to stand and walk on top of it to mount my paintings and a few other things done to the ceiling and it didnt even budge. I would probably suggest for long term purchasing to find another slat replacement as i'm sure even though these are very sturdy, things happen and within a year or two they might break but having another set would probably be wise. the actual metal frame though will never have any problems at all judging from how its built. The main reason I purchased this was because I have a small car and everything about this bedframe can be broke down and slid into the back as well which is very convenient. If you're worried about having to move in the future and don't have the means to get a moving truck for long distances this is definitely the solution for you.Another thing I saw on questions was people wondering if it slid around any, so far I've experienced none whatsoever especially with these table stands i put up beside it as well now. Regardless while the dip isn't very deep its not flush so you could use a box spring as well and make it go higher and not have to worry about it sliding at all if you like to superman dive into your bed or something every night. In the end I give it a 10/10 for sturdiness and stylishness as well (The matte black feels and looks very cool up close). And would suggest this for anyone that doesn't have back/knee problems that wants a stylish bed and wants it to last through everything as well. Two cons I do want to mention though that don't affect me are... This is a low profile bedframe so be wary of that. 9 inches may sound like enough but my picture will show how low this is with a 10'' memory foam mattress and probably a inch or 2 of blankets and such. So definitely consider something else if you have a bad back or knees and need to get out of bed easily. The other is installation. I hand threaded every bolt first but after half way I couldn't tighten these with the allen wrench to save my life. I'm quite a big guy and have absolutely no problem with carrying my own weight around but without my wireless drill with a hex head I'm not sure how long it would've taken to actually get all these in completely and I definitely suggest if you don't have one then look for a neighbor/friend that has one that you borrow it from them as well to save a good hour+ of tightening.I was really on the fence about buying this because there is so little info on it. Just got this and haven't put it together yet, so I will update after that experience. I wanted to put a quick review up that would answer some of the questions and concerns that I wished I could get answers about before purchasing. I did go ahead, however, and purchase the full size platform because I liked the look of the platform in the photos. First, out of the box the color looks exactly like it looks in the pictures on my monitor. It is a warm, metallic taupe/gray as opposed to a cold, steel gray, which I did not want. The color goes well with olives, taupes and warm grays--sort of a deep putty color. Could be great in a modern, loft look, or also would work okay in a transitional setting. My house is rather eclectic and I still think it will look great. I am posting the instruction book so you can see how it is constructed. There is a center bar with two support legs, which I don't think will be very obvious from a normal viewing angle. It looks very well made and sturdy. Nice finish, no scratches out of the box, well packed. Hardware includes standard washers and lock washers with instructions to use both. I also found this exact same bed on a competitor's website for about 40% more under a slightly different name/same photos. Yay, amazon!I will update this review after I have put the bed together.UPDATE: I put the bed together this afternoon. It took me a couple of hours with a couple of breaks. I am a senior, petite woman who is reasonably mechanically inclined, but not very strong. This platform bed is a quality product. It fits together nicely, the instructions are clear and one person can assemble it without any problems. Make sure you follow the instructions and do not tighten anything until you have the whole thing assembled. (The provided allen wrench isn't very adequate for tightening the screws--at least, not with my hands. I used an electric screwdriver with a torx bit, but had to manually turn the screwdriver to get the screws tight enough). The wood platform is connect together with a ribbon type set up and this attaches to the frame in 3 places on each side. The slats are fairly wide and about 3 inches apart. For those wondering about clearance off the floor--it is only 6 inches, not 7 as stated in the Q&A section above. One reason I recently bought two platform beds was to get rid of dust ruffles and junk stored under my bed. I want the open look of flooring under the bed. Thus, the allowance for storage wasn't a concern to me. For this room, I had a 14 inch mattress and I needed a very low platform. This is perfect. Overall, this was an excellent buy.
