This item wasn't the easiest to assemble as it's very easy to switch the left and right sides but once you get past that point the rest of the assembly is easy just don't use a screw gun as the screws themselves are extremely cheap looks like they were made in China and they strip easily so I strongly suggest you use an Allen wrench. Once this bed was assembled it looks great and it's very sturdy. There was a slight gap between the back wall in the side wall on the left side other than that I would definitely recommend buying this bedNever opened the boxes. The seller has you pay shipping both ways. The return shipping was $155.00 plus a 15 percent service fee. I am out more money for shipping and no daybed. It looked like a good deal but the only winner was the manufacturer. The directions for buildings in bed were absolutely ridiculous and made putting it together very difficultThis product simply didn’t live up to the level of craftsmanship I was expecting. There were boards not fastened properly to the headboard portion of the bed. I would have expected bolt covers to hide the unfinished bolt heads from view when the bed is assembled. However there were no bolt covers. There were other little things like corner posts not being square with the caps and nothing quite lining up like it needed to. When assembled the drawers don’t push all the way in at the bed due to the thin front board not having enough structural strength.Love the color and style of the bed. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize there are no caps to cover the exposed bolts. My husband is very handy but stilltook him 3-4 hours to assemble. Had to buy new handles because the screws provided were too short and I couldn’t find any at Lowe’s to fit. The drawers stick and don’t close all the way. I want to return but so much work to take apart and get back in two boxes. Yes, came in two boxes. ? I regret buying a bed online but too late now.Too many technical issues
